The Military Animal Project thanks the Gene Haas Foundation for renewing its $10,000 grant for 2025. This support helps us continue our work together to serve veterans and make a positive impact in our community.

The 2025 grant continues the Foundation’s support for our mission and directly funds two main programs. Veteran Pet Support Services helps at-risk and homeless veterans care for their pets. The Certified and Insured Therapy Dog Program offers emotional support and companionship to veterans dealing with service-related challenges.

The Gene Haas Foundation first supported the Military Animal Project in 2024 with a grant to address an important infrastructure need at our training and equine facility. This funding improved safety and daily operations, helping veterans, animals in training, and those using equine-assisted services.

The Military Animal Project sincerely thanks the Gene Haas Foundation for its ongoing support and investment in healing veterans through the human–animal bond. We are profoundly grateful for the Foundation’s philanthropic leadership and generosity, which exemplifies a commitment to community enrichment and makes a significant difference in the lives of our veterans and their companions.
