
Bringing Paws and Purpose to a Day of Veteran Support
Military Animal Project is proud to participate in the upcoming Veterans of Ventura County Stand Down on Friday, August 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Captain Rosemary Bryant Mariner Outpatient Clinic in Ventura (5250 Ralston Street). This impactful event offers a full day of free services, resources, and community connection. MAP will be there with our therapy dog teams, sharing the power of the human-animal bond.
Visit our booth to:
- Meet several of our certified therapy dogs
- Learn about our programs that pair veterans with rescue animals
- Providing pet food and product for veterans battle buddies
- Connect with life-saving support for mental health, independence, and well-being
Organized by the Ventura County Veteran One Team in partnership with Veteran Affairs and local service providers, the Stand Down helps unhoused and at-risk veterans access the help they need in one location.
